New procedure for registering for conferences!
BOCES/NERIC and the Greater Capital Region Teacher Center have both changed the way you register for conferences and workshops that they sponsor. Now you will need to log into their site and view the on-line catalog and select the conferences/workshops directly. They use a program called My Learning Plan. The first time you register for a conference or workshop you will be directed on how to apply for an account in My Learning Plan.

Also, new as of July 1, 2009 the Watervliet City School District is a member of Model Schools. This means that our teachers can register and attend one of the numerous technology classes that are offered at BOCES/NERIC or at neighboring districts, or via on-line web course. These classes are included in the BOCES/NERIC on line catalog.

(NOTE: YOU MUST STILL USE THE DISTRICT PROCEDURE AND REQUEST YOUR CONFERENCE/WORKSHOP IN THE PDP TIMEKEEPER FIRST. ONCE APPROVED, YOU MAY THEN GO TO THE BOCES OR TEACHER CENTER SITE TO REGISTER FOR THE CONFERENCE/WORKSHOP. THE CURRICULUM OFFICE CAN NO LONGER REGISTER YOU FOR ACTIVITIES AT THOSE SITES.)

Please save these links in your favorites so you can check out what is offered periodically.
