Literacy recognized in a magical way at elementary school

Watervliet Junior High School students visited the elementary school to share their love of reading with younger students in recognition of Read Across America Day on Friday, March 2.

Read Across America later continued as WES celebrated literacy with an evening of fun-filled magic featuring Melvin the Magnificent & "The Magic of Reading." Many families came out and enjoyed an entertaining magic show and a special birthday cake in honor Dr. Seuss.
