Bus Safety should be a priority!
It is important that both parents and students
understand that the buses used for transportation from the
Watervliet School District for the High School population are not
school buses. That is, the buses used are from Capital District
Transportation Authority (CDTA) and the New York State Traffic Law
does not require vehicles to stop when these buses are boarding or
de-boarding passengers as they do for the familiar Yellow School
Buses.
