Principal Letter: State tests

Watervliet Junior High School, like public schools around the state, is preparing for the upcoming state tests in English Language Arts and mathematics. Grades 7-8 students will take the ELA test in April, and the math exam in May. Grade 8 students will take the science test in June. Read Principal Groat’s letter about testing

Safety drills complete at WJSHS

Watervliet Junior Senior High School conducted a lockdown drill and a shelter-in-place drill this morning. Thanks to the Watervliet Police and Fire departments for their assistance with the drills. These practice drills help reinforce procedures with students and staff in the event of an actual emergency.
