The new Parent Portal will allow parents and guardians to view student schedules, progress reports and teacher's grade books.
New online tool allows all junior-senior high school parents view academic progress
Nov. 21, 2011
Recently,
the Watervliet City School District launched a
web-based communication tool allowing parents and guardians to view
their children’s academic profiles via the internet anytime, anywhere.
The district piloted eSchoolPortal
for grades 7 and 8 and it is
now available for parents with students in grades 9-12.
While not all teachers are participating at this
time, it's expected more teachers will begin using the program as time
goes on.
There is no cost to parents and guardians to use the system.
Log on to the Parent
Portal website today to see which of your child's
teachers are using it.
