Teachers and staff bake for student council fundraiser

The junior high student council held its fourth annual Cookie Bake-Off, Wednesday, Dec. 7. Twenty teachers and staff members entered cookies into the competition this year. After judging, the cookies were sold at the Watervliet Junior-Senior High School Holiday Concert to raise funds for the student council.

The cookies were judged on taste, texture, appearance and creativity.

This year's winners are:

Chocolate chip: Mr. Roddy

Peanut/nut: Ms. Rozell

Holiday: Mrs. Spain

Vliet: Ms. Updyke
