New test for 9th graders this year
Sept. 26, 2011
The district will soon begin piloting new
assessment tests for ninth graders. The results of the new tests will
help the district design instruction that best meets the needs of
students.
The new assessments (Measures of Academic Progress or MAP tests) will be
given during the school day three times a year (fall, winter and spring)
in order to chart growth.

DeMento's,
letter to parents and guardians about the test.
Parents can also review the Northwest
Evaluation Association’s
Parent Toolkit which includes answers to frequently asked
questions about the MAP tests, tips for parents to help prepare students
for tests and information on ways to help with language, reading and
math.
