City announces Halloween curfew

The City of Watervliet has announced the police department will be enforcing a curfew for Halloween night starting at 10 p.m. All youth under the age of 18 will be prohibited from being on the streets, avenues, parks and public right of ways within the City of Watervliet from 10 p.m., Oct. 31 to 6 a.m Nov. 1, city officials say. Police officers will require any violators to go directly home or, at police discretion, require a parent or guardian of a minor in violation of the curfew to pick up their child, the city said.
