Investing in our buildings; Investing in our Future

Question: If you had the chance to make significant home improvements at no cost, would you?
The Watervliet City School District has an opportunity now to make several facilities improvements — excluded from prior projects because of cost constraints — at NO additional cost to local taxpayers.

To learn more attend the upcoming informational meeting, Thursday, Nov. 10.
Parents, district residents and staff are invited to learn about:
• how the project will benefit the next several generations of students; and
• how the combination of Qualified School Construction Bonds and state building aid will negate the local tax increase.

When: Facilities planning task force meeting, 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 10
Where: WJSHS Administrative Conference Room

Check back here for more information as more updates about the project will be posted in the future.

The vote for the project is set for Dec. 20 from noon to 9 p.m.
